Virginia juniper is an evergreen conifer with a silver-blue color and a narrow conical habit. Small to medium-sized species that can reach a height of 4 m to 6 m. Due to its narrow shape, pruning is not necessary in principle, but it can be done from June to September. Preferably in dry to normal soil in full sun. When the tree is illuminated by the moon at night, it appears as if the light is reflecting off of it, hence the name.
